GOSPEL & COMMUNITY
Being young and in college is tough. One is faced with various decisions about their future. Oftentimes, accountablity in the Christian community is at its lowest during this transition phase due to the busyness of life. Macland College Fellowship is a weekly Bible study that meets each week in someone’s home. Both college and career-aged students are invited to join in the topic-based Biblical studies, followed by fellowship through games, food, or deeper discussion. MCF’s focus is to assure young adults that they are not in this crazy thing called “life” alone. Whether you are a new Christian, or have been one since a child, we all have questions, and our weekly gatherings are there to provide scriptural aid in answering those questions and strengthening faith.
“Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.”
“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. “
We believe that one of the most important ways to experience growth in Christ is to give, which is why our desire is not only for you to come experience community but also to serve. Whether it’s helping with our weekly worship service, serving as a small group leader, leading a Sunday D-Group, helping our Trek & Journey students in Awana, or serving as an intern we want you to be involved! If you have questions on how to get plugged in let us know and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Each year we offer 2 college students the opportunity to apply to serve as an intern in our year-long internship program. These internships are paid positions in which those selected serve as a vital part of our core leadership team. Each internship is not only challenging but promises great reward as students explore their gifts and talents as well as pour into the lives of middle and high school students. For more info see the Internship page.
